NOTARY PUBLIC LAW
We’re Here To Serve You Better
Licensed & Designated
A notary public is an experienced practitioner who acts as an official witness to the drafting and execution of legal documents. In the cases where the province of Ontario requires a seal of approval to a valid and binding document, we can provide this service. Our notary seals and signatures are registered with Official Documents Services Canada and eligible for any legalization and authentication process.
Knowing the Difference
A notary public and a lawyer serve distinct roles. A notary public is appointed by the province to serve as an official witness to document signings and possesses the authority to certify documents. On the other hand, lawyers offer legal counsel, represent clients in court proceedings, and prepare legal documentation. We are able to assist you throughout the notary process with a comprehensive variety of services.
Affirmation Documents
Our notaries are duly licensed and authorized to administer and validate documents covering affirmations made under legal recognition. These documents must be signed in the presence of our notary to be legally recognized. This service extends to all documents eligible for notarization:
-
Oaths
-
Statutory Declarations (change of name, citizenship, residency, etc)
-
Affidavits
-
Separation Agreements
-
Prenuptial Agreements
-
Wills / Living Wills
-
